the "pregnant man"
I saw Barbara's "scoop" on the news that he/she is pregnant again. I am so sick of this person being called a "man"!!! The only thing "man-like" on him/her, is the beard, and lack of breasts. (the removal scars are very visible in many of the pictures) If all it takes is some facial hair, and a male name to be called a "man", there are probably lots of older ladies everywhere, (with the granny whiskers), thanking their lucky stars that their names are Mable, or Dorothy, or. . . !!!

It is kind of a freak-show. Sorry, to be so harsh put it just doesn't fit. Why did she opt to become a man and get through all the hassle when she ends up having one kid after the other?
And why going public? She/he could have had the kids without the media.--

Hi.......I understand your point of view. And it is solid. But....here are my two cents worth.....so grab a bucket of grains of salt:
1. this person was born a woman with a few wrong parts. In her heart of hearts.....she was male. Not a choice. Just the way she was born. It happens.
2. everyone has female and male components. this person is just predominately male.
3. they did not contact the media....the media contacted them.
4. I am happy for them......for I just want people to love whomever they want to love and have families if they so choose (as many babies as they decide on)...no matter the dynamics.
5. But enough media poopoocaca is enough. Let them alone and let them move on. The medical aspect is cool....all that. But it's old news.
So, that is my two cents and you may take it with a grain of salt.

I couldn't agree with you more. This is not a man. It's not like he/she is giving birth thru his p***$$. She has all the working parts of a female and can therefore carry this baby. So she has a beard and no chest, everything still works as a female. Any female can have their breasts removed and if shave enough can grow a beard but would still have female baby carrying equipment. A man can have all the surgaries to become female but still not carry a fetus. but my point is that they are a female and can get pregnant and give birth as a FEMALE. a true man can not carry a fetus. but this he/she is getting attention since he/she is just weird enough to do this and then call the news and of course he/she is making plenty of money to do so. this is simply a lesbian couple in which one of the females were artificially inseminated. it's not like his wife inpregnated him.

While I am a firm believer in "to everyone his own" I think their behavior is gross. It is not " a miracle of nature". More a miracle of modern medicine.

But they didn't contact the media. The media contacted them. And contacted them and contacted them and contacted them. sooooooo, they finally decided, well okay then, we'll tell our story. And you're right: it isn't a miracle. Just a story about two women - one predominately a male - who wanted to have a life and a family.

To Aunt Hill, i really don't think anyone was trying to wish this person ill fate. Yes she wanted to be a man instead of a woman, born wrong as she felt. But to go around telling the media she is a freak of nature so to speak because a MAN is having a baby is not correct. It doesn't matter who contacted whom here he/she could have kept quiet and to themselves. I think they are alerting the media for the profit. The whole point was this, by all body parts she is a female. A male CAN NOT carry a baby and give birth. This is what the media needs to stop trying to inforce upon us, i.e. telling us this is the first man to give birth. It's just not true. She may have had surgary, taken male enhancement drugs, but she is still a female when it comes to carrying this baby. I'm not sure about if she is still female below and giving birth naturally or having a c-section. either way she is equiped with the female ovaries to get pregnant and the female womb to carry the fetus, therefore not a man but a woman. Period! May she be happy along with her wife and children.

hollywoodclassic....you are right. The media hype is making me crazy touting this as some kind of man miracle kind of thing. AS IF!! They need to give it a rest....or tell it like it actually is. But...you know...they never will let it go and NEVER tell it like it really is. sigh Talk to you later, I hope. You are very interesting.
