If this is the "new format then TV Guide is OVER!!
I have been complaining about this truly NASTY no channel-number online format. It has been going on so long now that it's beginning to dawn on me that it has been done on purpose. Well, if that's true then between the "new" TV Guide magazine format and this new online format then not only do I want to cancel my subscription and get my money back, but as far as I am concerned TV Guide has dug their own grave! They are no longer of any use whatsoever. I completely mean that! A totally disgusted customer!!!! No channel numbers, no TV Guide!!!!!

I don't mean to sound rude but if you can't figure out what station is which channel then you might need some help. Not to mention the TV guide channel still displays channels and most channels display a logo in the bottom so you can coordinate it.

Apparently I am not aware of the problem you speak of. My TV guide is fine...and it does not list my channels out of order. Someone else is complaining about a similiar problem. I apologize for assuming.

So, what? I'm supposed to spend half the program time sorting and figuring out which channel is which whenever I look at the online Guide? You really are some piece of work garebear85! You must be a 'Millenial'. The rest of us have been warned about your generation and are genuinely concerned about where the world is heading now! Now what I want to know is why my online TV Guide has the no-channel-number problem when others don't? Also, if that's so wondeful why is it that no other tv listings do it that way?

You must be seeing the national listing grids. We still display the channel numbers. You just need to use the full listings page here. Just use the edit link and select your service provider.

No channel numbers? I see that happen whenever my system tosses its cookies (no, that doesn't mean barfing, at least not here). If your browser can't read the TVGuide cookie (a little file it saves in your computer) that contains your location and cable service, the TVGuide site puts up a generic page with Eastern Standard Time and network names for the channels, but no channel numbers. Of course, you have to have entered this stuff for there to be a cookie, but sometimes cookies disappear even if you did set things up properly. Try (re)entering your TV info (click on the "Edit Location" link) and maybe you'll see channel numbers again.

Your right, the magazine reeks. Still, they claim most people like it. Either they're lying to cover themselves for the blunder they made or it's the continuing DUMBING DOWN of America. As far as, the online. I use it all the time no problem ( beats the mag & it's free). Can I assume you put your zip code in the edit location & then picked your carrier?

You need to go to edit location and put in your zip code and then select your cable or satelite provider.

The TV guide on the cable is more interested in gossip crap than just giving us what is coming on TV. Only 10% of the screen is devoted to the guide...the rest to tabloid material. I make it a point to avoid all products advertised on the TV guide channel.
