Irresponsible Journalism
Yeah, I would like to comment with regard to the sleazy and irresponsible journalism of Matt Roush and others. Entertainment magazine or not, they still need to put more effort into the stories and columns they write. I particularly don't like the generational warfare that Roush launches when reviewing "Quarterlife". The review smacked of bias and laziness. I also don't like the thinly veiled male-bashing in the Top 12 Stories section of the magazine describing male viewing habits as well as the inside humor, which is really there to entertain the staff and not me the reader. This kind of gender-based McCarthyism is only holding this country back and turning it into ancient Rome. Don't ever think about engaging in some kind of tired rhetoric about certain genres of music, because I'm not having any of that.

AndOn your TVguide for today 11/11/08 on one of your duo's commenting on upcoming CMA awards. " After you get past the racial tension and all blond cast of women...etc . I resent your remarks towards caucasians(whites) for several reasons. First both of your commentators were white, I am white and the majority of country artists are white. However, ever heard of :Ray Charles, Charley Pride,or Darrius(Hootie) from "Hootie & the Blowfish? Ora man named B.B.KING? Chuck Berry?
If rude , racial comments are OK in your on camera editorials, then we should give equal time to B.E.T. for their racially biased programing,after all ,where is W.E.T.( white ent.)& if the Spanish programming is OK then there needs to be a program exclusively available to Whites, Blacks,Oriental, Asian, ETC.Or get off of whites that excell at what they do.RN1974
