Where did the TV Guide channel go ....

Seriously, Im lost without it. Im having to actually 'surf' the cannels, and Im a gal. Its not in my DNA to surf channels. Are you going to post another channel, please do. We, the populace, need it. Also I enjoy watching 'Look Alike' and ' Idol Chat' as well .... Not only do I use this channel. I WATCH this channel ... It can be rather informative at times. Again, Please give us back our TV Giude channel...

Thank you
Darhelia

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that on June 4, 2007, the TV Guide Channel became the TV Guide Network.

This reflects the continued evolution of the Channel from primarily a utility service, to a more fully developed television guidance and entertainment network with a continued commitment to high quality programming.

The TV Guide Network will launch two new series, AMERICA'S NEXT PRODUCER, a 10-episode reality competition, and MAKING NEWS: TEXAS STYLE, a 13-episode series that will give viewers an inside look at the inner-workings of a local news station in Midland, Texas.

Look for the TV Guide Network link at the top of the page to see about the continued programming on the Network.

My local Cable Provider dropped the TV Guide Channel from basic cable for a REALLY LAME home shopping channel that sells JUNK!
I HATE NOT HAVING MY TV GUIDE CHANNEL info and programming.
Is the new change to the TV Guide Network the reason it has been dropped?
It is really a disservice to viewers and I can easily switch to Dish -- where I have a channel guide at my finger tips -- what are they thinking and will writing them help?

Where did the t.v.guide channel go... I believe it has gone the way of the horse and buggy. when I turn to your channel, I am confronted with "america's next producers" being aired, instead of my local listings. In the past, when you aired a show, you at least had the listings shrunk at the bottom of the screen, now that isn't even the case. I turn to your channel so that I have a choice in what I watch, not to have my choice made for me. Calling yourself t.v.guide is false advertising at best, and, deliberately misleading at worst. If you do not plan to show the local listings or only plan on airing them at certain times, you should change your name. I am in mourning for my old t.v.guide listings, only time will heal the ache I feel. I am sure I am not the only viewer who feels this way. In no way, shape, or form is this an improvement over the past. Please rethink your recent changes or you will probably be losing more loyal viewers other than me.

I am lost now....what will become of this world? I never realized how much I just wanted to see what was on rather than actually have to watch it.

Darhelia, my cable provider (comcast) moved the TV Guide channel to a Digital channel. So if you don't have Digital cable, you won't be able to access it. So check with your cable provider. Though the TV Guide Channel has changed it's format so it's not even worth having any longer.

The TV Guide channel is a let down. You need to have the kids go out of the room while you look to see what is on. They cuss, which shows a lack of vocabulary, and show too much skin. We tell kids that talking ugly is bad and then they hear it on the TV Guide channel. If a NASCAR driver says a word like some that I've heard on this channel they have to pay $5000 or more. Take that junk off the "top" and just have tv listings.
