It was a good season premiere. I really enjoyed that they showed viewers what the phantom zone looked like but it was too easy for Clark to escape. I wanted to see some more time spent in there. I wanted to see how Clark would have handled himself in the zone. I am fustrated with Lana. She is so quick to be with Lex. I just can't understand why the writers have taken it to that direction. I want to see more development of Clark abilities and his uses for it. It has to give him some ground for becoming Superman later.

I enjoyed last season finale and the build up and now its abck to Clark doingthe right thing.
Lois and Lana are boring so far - what do they do actually? Chloe is more fun to watch & she has turned into Clark's "buddy". Its hight time he got some new male friends for bonding.
Yeah wish he could start flying. Premiere was good but tonight's episode was not that great. Hopefully with Green Arrow's cahracter the show will be more interesting to watch

Yes, I believe Clark needs more male friends. I think it's great that someone else (Chloe) knows his secret. I think it has taken a lot of pressure off of him to keep it from everyone. I have really enjoyed this season so far. I just hope it keeps up. I like Lois, she is funny. Lana however, is getting pretty boring. Is she playing both sides of the Luthers off each other or is it just me?

Speaking of male friends for Clark..I think he had a great one.. and then they killed him off. Anyone know why they did that? Did he want to leave? I thought the young actor was solid. They brought back Chloe from the dead..so to speak. I wish they could have done that with Pete.

I'm new to the board/show-can anyone bring me up to speed on the villians? I know that the actor playing Lex Luther has left and I also heard a rumor this is Smallville's last season. Is it true this is the last season? I can't believe it, everytime I get into a show it disappears.
