That is the best news that I could have read. I've missed you sooooooo much and I am sooooooo glad that you can finally go home! Oh Happy day is definitely right!!!
I'm so happy you posted this before I went to work!
Hey RevVee that is beyond wonderful news. I am so happy for you. Now you listen to mama warden and eat your oatmeal and get plenty of rest and Blog with us when you are up to it. Hey and your Mets won again last night they beat Marci's Giants.
Oh what a joy to log on and find a posting from you. And what greater joy to read the fantasmagorical great news that you are going home. Woo-hoo! Go Rev, go Rev, go Rev!
Makes me wanna dance with joy!
May you continue getting better, stronger, and oh yeah... I hope you can graduate from oatmeal (add cinnamon and sugar) to ice cream and root beer real soon!
So, now what you said yesterday about coming to visit you when you got home, makes a little more sense!
I'm so happy for you Sis that I can't really put it into words. So, imagine that I was really eloquent in my joy here. Because if I say anything I might start leaking.
Shut up! I'm not a crybaby!
But let me go all Mama Warden on you for a moment. Just because you're going home (which is reason to celebrate in of itself) doesn't mean you're out of the woods yet and can party all day and all night, young lady! You still need to take really good care of yourself. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you OUGHT to. Just because you can stay up until 2am reading blogs, doesn't mean you should! So, please, please, please continue to take really good care of yourself, my Sister Friend. None of us wants you to have a relapse. Okay? Promise me?
Okay, good. Now you can go home and RELISH being in your own bed! Whoooo!!!
Oh and please send our thanks and blessings to Mama Warden, Tony, Tracy, Nephew, your doctors and nursing staff, and everyone else who has taken such good care of you so that you can finally come back and play with us again. Our gratitude knows no bounds! I'm just going to say a little prayer for their health and well-being as well. Jazakhallah kheir to all of them. And, heck, throw in a few hugs too.
Can I just say how it cracks me up that Vee wrote her own Rev Vee's Daily Blog today. Bahahahahahah! We created this for you to have a space to come visit us! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You crack me up girl.
Someone sent me this joke and I thought it would make everyone laugh.
A man on his Harley was riding along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, 'Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish.'
The biker pulled over and said, 'Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over anytime I want.'
The Lord said, 'Your request is materialistic; think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports required reaching the bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! It will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind.'
The biker thought about it for a long time.
Finally, he said, 'Lord, I wish that I and all men could understand women; I want to know how she feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, why she snaps and complains when I try to help, and how I can make a woman truly happy.'
The Lord replied, 'You want two lanes or four on that bridge?'
And I just remembered Burn Notice is back on this weekend as well! It really IS a happy day!
Vee, you don't know how happy I am for you. That is the VERY BEST NEWS I've heard in a long time. I don't have long to talk, I have kiddies here already and more on the way, I can't be here blogging when they show up. Just make sure you take care of yourself and get all the rest you need so you can go home. I LOVE YOU SWEETIE!
