Got Burning Questions for Eric Kripke?

We're two weeks away from the first of four new episodes of Supernatural (yay!). Guess what time it is? It's time for another Q&A with Supernatural's awesome creator Eric Kripke.

So post any questions you've been dying to ask Mr. Kripke. But please keep them to two per person. You'll have until Friday 4/11 @ 7PM Eastern to give us your questions.

Did you guys catch the repeat of a "Dream a Little Dream?" Ya gotta love that ending and anything that has to do with Bobby. And did you see the promo for the new episode? Finally!

Now post away people. I can already think of a question I want to ask. How about you?

I can’t thank Eric enough for coming to the Supernatural Con in Los Angeles and being so honest and genuine. We have a newfound appreciation and understanding of the difficulties he goes through to get the show on the air and why certain decisions are made. Sorry that we drive him nuts with the criticism, but rest assured it’s done entirely out of love and concern!

(1) It pleased me tremendously to hear you say that Season 4 will be going back a bit to the successful formula of season 1. But based on your comments at the Con and Sera Gamble’s comments in a couple of recent interviews, the two of you appear to be on different mindsets regarding the future direction of SN. Who should we believe at this point?

(2) Any chance we can get you to reconsider your unwavering desire to quit after Season 5 if the series is still going strong (especially in view of the shortened third season)?

Thank you!!

2) When will Bela finally get whats coming to her?

1) I understand that Dean's deal will end. Will the demon who wants Dean's soul want it for Dean? Or is this another plot for Sam?

2) What will Dean's role be in the coming war? Will he be just another soldier? Or will he have a greater purpose?

Here's my question:

1) I've had a long term theory regarding Sam and his visions - that they were not his but given to him by YED through the connection of blood, which he used to keep track and communicate (send dreams) to the chosen children. (Since Sam only had dreams of things connected to YED, it was not true precognition...so....) Is this right? Or am I just smoking something? (So totally dying to know! :P)
THANKS!

Eric, SUPERNATURAL is the best show I've ever seen, and I want to thank you for bringing it to us! Question: Will we ever learn the entire story about Mary, such as why she knew the demon (if she even did, given that demons lie), why all her friends and relatives are dead, and why the Winchester family is the target of all this evil? --Robin

Eric, first I must thank you for Supernatural.

The ending of Season 3 has so many possibilities and us fans are always guessing how you are going to leave us hanging until Season 4.

Will Dean have a secret revealed - something like Sam's psychic abilities? And something more about the amulet?

Thanks... can't wait to see what's going to happen!

Is there any chance you'll appear in a brief cameo role in an episode?
Have you thought the possibility of making a noir b&w episode?
Greetings from Greece

Contrary to the popular opinion I like Bela’s character and can’t wait to see her evolve more. Will we learn more about her back-story that was referred to in Red Sky at Morning and Jus in Bello?

In Mystery Spot we saw Dean die and Sam go all badass. When time was reversed and Dean lived, does Sam remember how dark he went? Do any of the other supernatural forces know what happened, other than the Trickster?

Eric, thanks for coming to LA for the convention. I couldn't be there but I heard from others that you were wonderful.

Since we're getting Mary's backstory in Season 4, is there a possibility that she was one of the generations that the YED was talking about in AHBL Part 1?

Do you have any plans of extending Season 4 because of how the strike shortened Season 3 to only 16 episodes?

Hey Eric,

1) Since the show now seems to be focused on demons and the demon war, I'd like to know if Dean has some sort of real connection to the demon war aspect of the show (besides just being a soldier in the war)? Sam is connected through the YED/Azazel and now other demons like Ruby and Lilith. But I'm wondering if there are plans to connect Dean to the demon storyline, just for himself (beyond just being Sam's brother)? And as an aside, I really love the urban legend-centric episodes and I'd like to see more of those next season.

2) I loved "Dream a Little Dream of Me" (Jensen's performance in the dream sequence was fantastic!). But I'm wondering, though, why Sam keeps insisting that Dean needs to "want" to be saved, when of course, even if Dean WANTS to be saved, he cannot actually DO anything to get out of the deal without Sam dropping dead? Have the rules of Dean's deal changed and is Dean now able to try to get himself out of the deal without his actions resulting in Sam dying?

Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions.

1) You've gotten a lot of negative reactions from fans about new girls added to the show, for example Jo and Ruby, but one girl who most fans seem to have loved was Sarah Blake from the episode Provenance. Any chance that we might see her again on the show?

2) Is Sam ever going to have deal with his powers, such as his visions or telekinesis, again or did his powers stop with the death of the Azazel?

Any chance of another special appearance from Jessica (Adrianne Palicki)? The vision of her at the end of "Bloody Mary" definitely gave the sense that there was more story there. I'm very curious what's become of her in the "afterlife", and did the manner of her death have any side effects? Any chance for more clues/development on that front?

My questions:

1. I love that Kripke already knows where the Winchesters' story ends and has known since season 1. I've been wondering, that since he has always had a mapped out path for Supernatural since its Pilot episode, what parts of the story we know so far were always planned and which parts evolved into the story?

2. Are we going to learn exactly why Sam is so special to the demon world? Why him and not Dean? Can you give us any hints?
