Survivor Gabon: “Will you cuddle with a rich man?”

I have watched every episode of every series of Survivor since it hit the air (and for some of those I deserve compensation from CBS) but I can’t EVER remember laughing as hard as I did last night.

Because…last night the Nobag tribe’s quietest, nicest, most intelligent member got together with the group “moron” (Corinne’s words, NOT mine) and blew the game wide open in one of the most hysterical moves since Yau-Man and his fake immunity gambit.

Honestly, can you remember the last time several tribe members were shaking and crying with laughter at Tribal as the votes were about to be counted?

How Dimples kept a straight face is beyond me but boy, were his eyes twinkling.

***

I hated Randy from the get-go but once he switched to the other side, quieted down and started playing hard, he got some grudging respect from me. I thought maybe it was just the influence of the poisonous atmosphere over at the cursed Fang camp.

But now, stuck in a tight alliance that was getting blindsided and destroyed at every, single Tribal Council, he found himself being Outwitted, Outplayed and Outlasted by people he thought were worthless, stupid and lazy.

Joining him in that opinion was the attractive but nasty Corinne who had a big hate for Sugar. The model seemed to be everything she hated. She was pretty, blonde and bubbly. Therefore, in Corinne’s mind, she was also stupid and not worth her time and effort. In fact, last week she called her a moron.

Randy came back from Tribal, Charlie inexplicably thrown out of the game by the resurgent outcasts led by video gamer, Kenny, and he was angry. To me, his ranting during last night’s show made no sense. Maybe one of you readers can explain how on earth he thought acting like a giant, smelly butt and alienating everyone on the tribe when his group was now in the minority was a good plan?

The playing started with, of all people, Bob and Sugar. Bob took Sugar aside (obviously the smartest man in camp knows she’s not a moron) and showed her his fake necklace. She didn’t admit to having the real idol but she saw the possibilities in his counterfeit idol. She wondered, giggling, if Bob was an evil genius.

I don’t know about that but he’s looking more and more like a wolfman. How much more hair can that man grow? Or is it getting longer because he’s shrinking?

***

Tree mail brought the group news of an auction and $500 each to spend.

Randy bought 3 beers and peanuts for $180. (Sugar bid it high just to make him pay more.) Kenny bought a covered dish for $340. It was a scroll which gave him the choice of sending himself to Exile or sending someone else and taking their money. He sent Bob and took his money.

Bob left with me and the hubb screaming at the television for Dimples to give him food before he left. Sugar bid $340 and got chocolate and peanut butter. Then the group bid on a hot bath and a set of clean clothes. (Randy offered $100 to wash Susie if she won with her $340 bid.) "That isn't gonna happen!" she snapped.

Sugar told Kenny that he should have gone for that because she would have cuddled with him if he had clean clothes on. “Will you cuddle with a rich man?” he said showing his and Bob’s cash. Everyone cracked up except Randy.

Matty bid $400 for cheeseburger, fries and soda.

Susie, finished bathing fast, complaining that the water was too hot. Everyone thought she was nuts.

Even though he had the most money, Kenny kept passing on things, letting others have the items. Randy won spaghetti and garlic bread. Corinne got a bottle with a note that was to stay sealed until the next immunity challenge with a promise that it would give her a big advantage in the game.

Finally, the first $20 bid would win something for the tribe which ended up being a plate of cookies. Randy grabbed it first and then asked Jeff if he could have it all to himself. Dimples told him, “FOR THE TRIBE!” So Randy started offering the plate. Sugar said no but said Matty could have hers. Randy told her that HE was the boss and would say who got his cookies. He offered two to Corinne who took one and a half.

Randy gave the other half of Corinne’s cookie to Matty. He took it and that left one cookie on the plate. He offered it to Sugar again, she took it and then handed it to Matty.

Oh, the war this started! Sugar gave his cookie…HIS cookie…his last cookie…away!

The auction was over but the battle was just beginning.

The huge, delighted grin on Dimples’ face said everything. This tribe had finally gotten interesting.

***

I’m not going to go into the huge amount of time spent on Randy griping about the cookies because print wouldn’t do it justice. Suffice it to say, it was annoying and funny at the same time.

“I came back from the auction broke, full, half drunk and pi**ed off,” he said. “I’m gonna burn this house down!”

Sugar did a hilarious Shirley Temple impression talking about Randy and his cookie. Randy was moping, saying that no one would listen to him. Matty pointed out that HE listened but Randy accused him of talking to other people.

Matty had the guts to tell Randy that he had set himself up to take a fall.

***

Bob went to Exile and instead of taking comfort and FOOD, he was still determined to find that idol. He took the clue and found that it was the one he’d already seen. He was a little upset but instead of wasting his time, he decided to go on a “safari.” Thanks to him we got to see some stunning scenery as he trekked around Exile.

***

Susie, Kenny, Sugar and Crystal wanted Randy gone. Matty agreed that Randy needed to go but argued that Bob needed to go next. Sugar noticed that Matty was trying to take control of the game. She commented that both he and super skinny Bob were physical threats. Had Matty decided to join up with Randy knowing he’d have a great chance if he went to the end with a jerk?

Randy wanted Susie gone because she flipped to the other side and that was why their alliance was being destroyed. All they needed was to get Bob on their side.

Meanwhile, Randy was driving everyone else crazy talking about the cookies and how he could have stomped on them if he’d wanted to.

***

The immunity challenge was really neat. There were three bags of puzzle pieces. The players had to take them, one at a time, over a long set of balance beams. The first two to finish would continue.

That bottle that Corinne bid on gave her a pass on the first part of the challenge and let her compete in the final.

In the end it was Kenny and Matty who won the first leg.

The second part was really fun. The puzzle pieces were actually huge, wooden domino shaped things. They had to put them out carefully on a board that sloped and peaked so that when they pushed the end piece over, they would collapse…like dominoes…and know a ball into a basket to raise a flag. The complication was that they had to work around strings that looked like spider webs that could cause their boards to move and knock down their pieces.

It was so unbelievably close that I was on the edge of my seat. All three ended up pushing their last domino at the same time. As they raced for the finish, Corinne’s hit a dead spot. Matty’s got nearly to the end and hit a dead spot. Kenny’s went through and he won immunity.

***

Back at camp, Randy wondered if Bob had found the idol on Exile. He was hoping that maybe Bob would jump on board and maybe even let him have the idol to save him and the alliance.

Sugar took Bob for a walk. She asked him to vote against Randy and he agreed that he needed to be gone. She said it might buy Bob some time and if not, she had another plan. She then went to him later and suggested that Randy would fall for the fake idol.

Bob thought that making Sugar happy might buy him more time so he agreed.

Corinne ran to Bob and asked about the idol and said if he had it he needed to give it to Randy. He said that he would give it to Randy if it looked like he was going home and promised to vote for Susie.

Bob pulled it off easily, handing it to Randy. This made Randy hilariously happy. He was thrilled.

Sugar didn’t tell Kenny or Crystal exactly what she did but told them to expect fun at Tribal. “Wait for it,” she teased.

***

At Tribal they all obsessed about the cookie controversy. “It wasn’t the last cookie. It was my cookie,” Randy said.

Susie came right out and said that Randy was pitiful, hurting, sad and she felt sorry for him. She tried to take it back when he was offended but that’s basically what she said.

And through the entire thing, Sugar glowed, barely containing her glee.

Then came the vote. Matty’s vote wasn’t shown. Corinne put Susie’s name down muttering nasty stuff about payback. Sugar wrote down Randy and whispered, “You are a disgusting, old, hot headed, chauvinistic, alcoholic, bigot and you need to grow up before you die alone!”

Wow! Tell us what you REALLY think!

Susie’s vote wasn’t shown. Randy voted for Susie. “This vote is not strategic. It’s strictly personal,” he whispered.

Crystal wrote down Randy’s name and then yelled so everyone could hear her (causing Marcus, Charlie and most of the others to laugh while Sugar dissolved into helpless giggles, burying her head in her hands.) “You have made my life he** from day one! Forget you! Go home! Goodbye!”

While Dimples tallied votes, Sugar bent over double, unable to stop laughing. When he came back and asked about hidden immunity, Randy jumped up and took the necklace to him. Sugar was dying. Crystal, who must have figured it out knowing that it was Sugar who had the idol, fought laughter. Even Matty was grinning. Corinne was smiling smugly but it didn’t last for long.

My hubby thought Bob looked guilty. I disagree. He was just stoic I think.

Sugar looked like she was in pain she was struggling not to laugh out loud so hard. Crystal was in tears trying not to laugh.

Dimples did the whole spiel about how the immunity necklace worked and then informed him that it WASN’T the hidden immunity necklace.

Sugar finally let loose. Crystal was still trying to control it. Frodo and I were in hysterics. Even Marcus and Charlie were enjoying the show.

They tried to make it look close but Randy was sent packing.

Corinne wasn’t smiling anymore.

They were sent back to camp and the show closed with a close-up of the fake necklace.

Randy’s goodbye was gracious as always. “Being voted out by these bozos”…lalalala…on and on.

I was a bit surprised to see that Bob voted for Susie. Hmmm.

Next week: Did Marcus really pocket the immunity idol that was thrown into the ocean and hide it on the island? Did he really tell Bob where it was or is the old buy playing another game? I can’t wait to find out. Maybe he really IS an evil genius!

In closing I have only one question: Who’s the moron now Corinne? Who’s the moron now?

Excellent recap of the best Survivor episode EVER! I don't understand Randy's strategy either, although he did think Bob had the HII and would give it to him when he told Corrinne about it.

I didn't notice them showing the fake idol at the end but I hope Dimples saved it for Bob as a keepsake and gives it back to him at the finale.

The only thing I didn't like about last night was that now Marcus and Charlie are going to have to put up with a bitter Randy. I'm going to check out Ponderosa now to see how that went.

Vickie Jean, Vickie Jean:

Santa came early, because I got the best present ever. Randy's gone. I couldn't tolerate him on my TV anymore. Those folks at camp must've been going out of their minds listening to his hate-filled diatribes. And, for the record, Randy offered Corinne two cookies, which to me means that Randy gave Corinne his cookie. And wasn't it Sugar's perogative to give either eat her cookie or give it to someone else? What part of buying something FOR THE TRIBE did Randy miss? And when Sugar finished her wonderful sentence, she called Randy a LOSER. She even did the "L" thing with her fingers. Best show, this season. It ranks up there with the Susan Hawk statement about "if you were on fire, I wouldn't spit on you to put you out". Sugar and Crystal were priceless. I can't remember anyone screaming who they voted for as loud as Crystal did. Dimples must've had the best night sleep when this episode was being taped, because he knew that it would be most excellent!!!! And the camera-people must've had a hard time keeping a straight face when Randy went on-and-on about how he was going to blindside everyone at Tribal Council and get rid of Susie. Yah, good luck with that!!!

And I'm curious, too, about how Bob is now telling Corinne that another HII is hidden around camp. If that is the case, why didn't Bob find it and give it to Randy to try and save him? Bob's alliance is shrinking. Why take a chance in having someone from your alliance voted out? Even if that is true, only Bob or Corinne can save themselves with it. They'll still be part of the minority, at Tribal Council, because I don't envision Crystal, Kenny, Susie or Sugar or even Matty flipping to the other alliance. It doesn't make sense. And so far, Bob's played brilliantly. And Reality Junkie, Bob's Fake HII was tossed in the fire by Dimples. Too bad. It was beautiful.

I gotta run. But, I had to stop here first. Vickie Jean, have a safe, happy and blessed week-end. I'm so happy, that I'm bouncing off the walls. No more Randy. Woo-hoo!!!! Just wait until Final Tribal Council. He's going to be a hoot!!!

Sorry for any mistakes. I'm really running.

Thanks Vickie for a marvelous recap. This was a great episode, one of those that the drama kept building and building until I was sure something was going to happen to blow it all. But no - everything went down as planned and it was GREAT!!

I think that Bob voted for Susie because he felt so bad about setting Randy up. He couldn't completely throw him under the bus! I think that this is the reason that he is trying to explain to Corinne about the Idol thrown out to sea. Somehow Bob is trying to explain that someone gave him the fake idol. Maybe I'm wrong - we'll see!

Here is Jeff Dimples Probst blog for the week. It is very interesting and kind of cryptic. I would really like to know who Serena is and why she and Jeff are sitting in a tree!!!:^O

Here it is:

After tonight's episode ended, I called Doc Horowitz and said, "I gotta get in to see you. I think something is wrong with me. I think I'm losing my edge. Going soft. Can you run a test or something, see what's what?"

He asked me for my symptoms.

I said, "I felt badly for Randy getting played at tribal council like a banjo at a small town country fair. (Yes, I know, bad analogy and small town and country fair are probably redundant.)

Recognizing the severity of my condition, he immediately cancelled his morning appointments to squeeze me in. I'm waiting on the results.

In the meantime, I try to make sense of it all. Randy is a bitter man with a ton of enemies, and he had this coming like a kid who sticks a fork in a toaster. (Was that one any better?) He deserved what he got like Survivor deserves an Emmy.

So why did I feel bad? Maybe there is just something about Randy that I can relate to and sympathize with. Oh, he will hate me saying it like that.

My friend Serena thinks the answer lies with Sugar and the way she handled herself as I read the votes. "Not cool." (I think she might be right. Serena is almost always right.) That uncontrollable laugh that came from such a deep place inside Sugar was so uncomfortable that I almost wanted to pull the votes out, rearrange them, rewind the tape, and vote Sugar out. Ah, but that's just me. Me and Serena that is...Me and Serena sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.

I will say this - it was brilliantly played from top to bottom, and I do appreciate that level of execution. Bob deserves major credit. He built an amazing fake idol, and he played both Corinne and Randy so well. Didn't rush it, wasn't pushy. He was subtle. Subtle like the feather of an eagle falling softly to the ground. (Worse?)

Corinne on the other hand is equally as mean as Randy but I don't find myself rooting for her in any way. She is an original. I will give her that. Not sure we've ever had anybody on the show quite like Corinne. Corinne is as subtle as a thunderstorm. Subtle as the look I give a Survivor when they want to quit. Subtle as, I know, a Probst analogy.

Jerri Manthey can't hold a candle to Corinne. Jerri had some likable qualities about her, Corinne has none. Just ask her. She'll tell you the same thing.

By the way, (which is, by the way, one of the phrases that most annoys me because everyone in Hollywood uses it as a way to alert you they're about to say something brilliant) all this stuff about me being attracted to Corinne really surprised me. Here's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I felt like I had been beating up on Corinne for so long that when I saw her smile on the last episode I figured I'd say at least one nice thing.

Fittingly, Corinne probably hated that I said it in the first place. But just so we are clear, I have no interest in dating Corinne. I do not have the hots for Corinne. I don't think about Corinne. I like nice women. Done. Enough already.

The Survivor Auction. Food wise, Randy was the clear winner and provoked a wonderful 5th-grade argument with Sugar about a cookie, and of course Sugar had to get the last word, and did when she took the cookie and gave it to Matty. So there. Whatcha gonna do about it? Serena likes Sugar but thinks she gets it wrong every single time at tribal council.

I'm a little confused about the auction – it's the one point in the show where we give the Survivors free money and then let them bid on food items and the like. So...why was it so bitter?

Sugar hates Randy. Randy hates Sugar. Corinne hates Sugar. Sugar hates Corinne. Thank god everybody likes Bob. At least there's one person to root for.

I'll tell you this: If it keeps up it's going to be an amazing bloodbath toward the end.

I absolutely love watching Kenny get more and more cocky each week. At the auction for instance, Matty is bidding on the burger and fries and Kenny, who had the most money, shrugs his shoulders and says, "You can have it." Like Tony Soprano, this kid. I can't wait for the execution. I promise you if he keeps this attitude, it will happen and he will not see it coming.

Okay, so to recap, which Serena loves for me to do...

I'm concerned about my soft spot for Randy, not interested in Corinne, can't wait for Kenny to get his comeuppance, enjoyed the 5th grade cookie argument, and love Bob.

Now to answer a few questions from last week:

Regarding a Final 3 vs. a Final 2: Our main concern is to make sure we keep the show interesting, so we vary it from season to season as we see fit. There are strong arguments on both sides, and I promise you whichever side you take, I will take the other side and defeat you. I love debate.

To Penny P – uh...the reason I started saying "FANG" instead of "FONG" is because the tribe changed their name. Pay attention.

Finally, regarding the "same lines" I say every week, such as: "Come on in guys," "Wanna know what you're playing for?" "Immunity is back up for grabs," etc....

1. Yes, I write everything I say. Blame me.
2. Yes, I'm aware I say them every time. That's the joke. Hello.

That's it. I'm done.

Thanks, Ranger! I love hearing Jeff's take every week and your always there to post it for us.

I'm thinking "Serena" might be his alternate personality. Like he likes Sugar as a person but not as a game player, hence, Jeff the person likes Sugar but Jeff the host does not.

Hi Vickie Jean - I loved loved LOVED IT. Haven't had that much fun all season and can't remember when I've enjoyed a tribal council more. What a JERK. I thought Randy was ranting and raving in order to get everyone to vote for him while he plotted to get the II and that way have the three of them vote out Susie. BUT he didn't have to act up - everyone would have voted him out anyway (though was annoyed at Matty for trying to put up Bob and super delighted that Sugar was the one to talk to Bob about giving the II to Randy - AND kept marveling that Sugar looks SO GOOD without makeup!!).

Liked the view we got thanks to Bob but had been hoping he'd give it up and go for the hut and the fruit, though he really doest think the idol is still out there since only Matty and Chrystal and Kenny know Sugar has it (surprised and pleased Matty hasn't told the others, but yet I still don't think of him as being part of the big five).

Hope the next one voted out is Corinne and that she realizes Sugar isn't the moron here. Looking forward, too, to seeing how she's going to be reacting to being ALONE, because wouldn't you think she's got to feel that way with only Bob and MAYBE Matty there with her? and I actually don't think anyone is. Wondering too how Bob is going to get out of the fact that he gave Randy a fake Idol. Maybe saying he found it on the island? which would make Corinne and Bob think maybe Sugar DOES have it (aren't they the only two that don't know that?).

So glad to have surprises and nice ones because I'm even beginning to like Crystal and that Kenny - wow - he really could wind up winning it all.

I have a question. Dimples said the winner of the bath would get new clean clothes. So how come Susie was wearing her ratty old dirty stuff at tribal? And agree, she wasted that bath!!

Liked seeing Corinne and Matty wearing the clean sarong type thing they'd gotten from the natives. So maybe Susie is saving her duds for another time.

FUN. Sorry it's only on once a week.

OH and did you read that Julienne is NOT coming back to DWTS? Will concentrate on her singing. But somebody said smart of them to give her a season off and that she'd probably come back after that. Who knows.

Have a great day. And THANKS for your usual really good review!!

Something I meant to say and forgot. I think Bob PURPOSELY put down Susie's name so there'd be their three votes and neither Randy nor Corinne would think he was pulling something if things didn't work out. Thought it was smart of him but he IS a smart guy. Hope he wins the next challenge because looks like the three being on the outs will be Corinne, Bob & Matty, and only Bob is the one I'd be sorry for. What do YOU think is going to happen next????

OMG! I have never laughed so hard at Tribal!! I did feel a little bad for Randy too, just because everyone was being so rude and laughing so hard.
But it was a brilliant move. I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt Bob.

I really love Sugar.... but..... I was really disappointed in what a b*tch she was at the auction. She passed on her cookie, then saw Randy give half of it to Corrine and half to Matty, so she knew darn well that the cookie he was offering was the last cookie, which thereby would have been his, but he was being a gentleman and offered her a chance to change her mind, and she takes it, and with a smug b*tchy look, turns around and gives it to Matt! The Mom in me wanted to grab her, drag her off to the side, give her a good talking to, and put her in time out!! :~)

Thanks for posting Jeff's blog Ranger! I was looking forward to seeing what he had to say! I don't know how he and the crew manage to keep a straight face sometimes! hmmm things must be getting serious with Serena, whoever she is....good for him!

Hi twblues, AMEN! LOL!

Hi Reality, Thanks! Was that not amazing? Yeah, thinking about it I think you're right. He thought that maybe Bob would find the idol, everyone would target him, he'd get the idol and they could backdoor Susie. Oops! I hope Dimples saved that fake necklace too. What you wanna bet that it shows up on the finale? Oh, poor Marcus and Charlie. I like them and Frodo and I both said the same thing. What a shame for them!

Hi Lady!! YES! I'm so happy too!!! I agree that Randy GAVE his cookie to Corinne. Yeah,I loved the Loser statement. I thought of Susan Hawk too. It was fantastic! Crystal completely cracked me up. How on earth Dimples kept a straight face through all that was amazing. He had to be happy that the season was finally taking off. You know, I've never really thought about the camera people. I wonder if they know everything that's going on or just what's happening with their particular person? Now about Bob...exactly. Is he playing the game or does he really know? Sugar may be right. He could be an evil genius and how great would that be? I agree with you about the alliance. I think the one group is going to stay together so the others are gone. Ah, did he burn the necklace? I thought he might keep it and take it to the finale! :) Thanks and you have a great weekend too!

Hey Ranger! Thank you! I'm always so excited to see this every week! Thanks so much for grabbing it for us. All I know about Bob is, like Lady said, he's going to be a hoot at the final Tribal. Can't wait to see his expression at next week's tribal too! What I find interesting is that Dimples didn't think Sugar was funny. I did! And what happened to the other girl he was dating? Is Serena his new love? Julie. That was her name. And wow, the hate he has for Corinne. Nothing likeable? Whoa! I think the snark runs deep in Dimples. We'd like each other!

Hi Dorjean, LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! You know, I kept thinking about Sugar with no makeup too.She is a really pretty young lady. I don't know what to make of Matty. I think he's dancing in the middle and waiting to see what is going to happen. If things don't change, Corinne will go next. She HAS to feel alone. She is. Kenny is amazing. Unlike Dimples (in his blog that our sweet Ranger posts here for us every week) I think he might go to the end. You know, I didn't think her clothes looked different or new either. Hmmm. Yeah, they'd have had to drag me out of that tub. I think she was afraid she was going to miss something. I saw that Julianne wants the spring season off then she plans to come back. She's threatened to do this before though so we'll see if she follows through this time. Bob is very smart. It will be interesting to see what happens with him. I think that we'll see Corinne go home next week but now that everything has been thown into the air, I have no idea what's coming next and that's the way I like it! Thanks!

Hi Vickie. Even though it's been a while since I put in my two cents, I have been following as much as I could. With the baby (I had a beautiful baby girl. She is amazing) I obviously don't have much alone time, but your great recaps have filled me in on what I've missed, thanks.

I didn't watch from the first episode, but since I started watching, I could not take Randy. I was laughing just as hard as Sugar was in anticipation of Randy playing the fake idol. I do have to say that Bob did a great job in making it look real. I think I would have fallen for it too.

I think Bob voted for Susie to make it seem like he wasn't playing Randy. He can easily pass it off as someone else (Sugar) must have found the idol and created the fake one to fool people. The way Sugar was laughing, he might be able to easily convince Corrine that it was Sugar and not him who made it.

Morning Vickie!

That was priceless- simply priceless. I couldn't have loved it more- it made this whole season (which has been a little uneven) worth it. When you can see a complete and total a$$ like Randy humiliated and blindsided at tribal, it's a good Thursday night! Now I need Sugar to throw her weight behind Bob and draw in Kenny and Susie, getting rid of Crystal and Matty (I love Matty but he's too big a physical threat)
and we have a final 4 that I could root for!

Can't imagine what got to Probst (smoke inhalation, dizziness from the hilarity of it all, jungle fever) but hope he gets over his big pity party for Randy fast- that dude just doesn't deserve it- AT ALL!!!!

Thanks Vickie!

This was my favorite episode, so far, of Survivor. It proved that there is more to Sugar than looks & no, she is definitely not a moron. Yes, right now that would apply to Corinne. I've not liked her since the start. I figure she'll go next. Sugar is still my favorite, but Kenny & Bob are right up there. I think Randy is just a grumpy old man & being on the island & maybe those 3 beers & the glass of wine he got with the meal he bought, added to his being more rude than ever. Matty needs to jump to the other side or he'll go soon too. The whole cookie thing was ridiculous & I do think in Randy's mind, he thought he was playing a good game. Acting crazy & being obnoxious are great strategy--we all know this. NOT! I wondered if Susie was abit embarassed after she got in the bath & that is why she got out so fast? I wouldn't have spent money on that but would have bought food, myself. I cringed when Randy offered to wash her back--EWWW! Liked Bob's safari--I really think besides winning the money, he is there for the whole experience. He looked so serene. And if Marcus did hide that other idol & Bob knows about it--then why didn't he take comfort?
And the other part I loved from last night's show was when Crystal loudly put her vote in for Randy.
Have a good day!

Hi Shel, We must have posted at the same time. Didn't see you!! It was hilarious wasn't it? I guess it was kind of rude to laugh at him like that but, like you said, it was brilliant. I thought the cookie thing was a bit out of character for Sugar and she kept talking about what a bigot Randy was, etc. I have to believe that much was happening off camera that made her hate him so much. This whole bunch could use a time out I think! LOL!

Hi Anna, Congratulations! That is wonderful! Now see, I was laughing too although I guess, like Shel and Dimples said, it was a bit rude but I just couldn't stand the guy. Bob was amazing but I'm afraid like Yau-Man, he's going to be gone too soon. That's a good point about Bob's vote. That would have made sense. Take care of yourself and try to get some sleep! :)

Hi bookgirl, I loved it too. I knew these people would eventually break out and act up. I wish it hadn't taken so long though. I would love to see Sugar befriend Bob. I want him to stay around awhile. I like Kenny too. I don't understand Dimple's "pity party" either but I guess he knows things that we don't. Have a great weekend!

Hi bbfan, It was my fave so far too. Corinne is making a very common Survivor mistake...underestimating people you don't like. I think Corinne will be next unless something happens. I can't figure out which side Matty is even on! I don't know but he'd better get over with the power players: Sugar and Kenny. Can you believe that? Sugar and Kenny! I think Susie might have been afraid that she was going to miss something. It's the only thing I can figure out. Bob seems to be a great guy. I think he might be playing yet another trick to keep himself in the game. Crystal was a hoot. Have a great weekend!

After reading Probst's blog, I did remember in the pre show about this Survivor that was on the tv guide channel, before the 1st show, that Probst did say he liked Randy alot, but if he didn't keep his cool, could end up voted out. Probst really seem to want Randy to go to the end--not win it necessarily, but he seemed to think Randy would keep the pot stirred, so to speak. I also remember that he liked Kenny, but thought he might be too naive to last long & as for Sugar--Probst said there is more to her than surface looks.
I heard that neither Julianne nor Cheryl would be on the next DWTS. Both want time off to pursue other things. I hear Lacey might be back & maybe her brother. Oh by the way Vickie, in your DWTS blog you talked about your 3 dogs.
I was especially interested in Merlin. We have a Merlin in our house too--he is a very big tomcat--about 8 years old.
We had a dog-Tyler-had to put him down just over a year ago. He was 18 years old--German shepard/husky mix. A big & gentle baby. We have 2 other cats. Magic is a female & is about 1 year older than Merlin, then we just took in a kitten--8-9 months old-Friskie. He is out at the vets getting the stitches out from declawing him. We may get a dog next spring. We haven't decided yet.
But Bill (hubby) is leaning towards a golden retriever. He grew up with that type of dog. We'll probably just go to the rescue shelter & pick one out.
Well better go check on my stew, it is smelling real good. We're having another windy cold day here in Nebraska & stew should hit the spot quite nicely.
