NBC Orders Full Season Of CHUCK
Hello Folks!
That's gotta be a first
NBC has handed out a full season order to its sophomore drama "Chuck", and this over a month before the second season has even started. The reason: Execs have been so impressed with the first six episodes of season two that they decided they didn't want to wait any longer to give them their back nine.
"We couldn't be more excited with the creative direction Josh [Schwartz] and his team are executing on 'Chuck,' " NBC Entertainment executive vp Teri Weinberg said. "This show has really hit its stride and deserves a full-season commitment to carry out the producers' vision for this unique series."

Thanks, Lamb. This is great news.
So, a full season is 15 episodes? Maybe this means no repeats and perhaps only one break during the season, which would be a good thing.

Don't worry, Marci. The full season order is 22 eps.
The Futon Critic confirms that it's 22.

Just to clarify. NBC has initially ordered 13 episodes for the second season. Ordering the back nine makes 22. The six episodes I refer to in the article are just the ones that have been looked at by the execs. That wasn't the full initial order.

Thanks for clearing that up, Lamb. I'm a little dense at times.
