HELP! Criminal Minds Finale!
OH MY GOSH! I just watched the Criminal Minds Finale (LoFi). Thank god for DVR. For anyone who watched it you know of the INSANE ending if you haven't seen it and are planning on it stop reading now.
BUT... has anyone heard anything about a character leaving the show?! I havent... I sat and looked at every freakin SUV in the closing sequence (replayed about 5 times) to try to catch a clue of who's car that was. ANY insights or news would be greatly appreciated. I do not think I can make it until September to find out what happens.
I dont even think I can blog about the episode... I am so overwhelmed!

That was one incredible episode. I was worried about JJ and William as soon as I found out that William quit his job to be with her. The two of them are so cute together. I haven't heard about any one leaving the show, I'd hate to lose any of them. The only one I can even think of doing without is Emily, and that's because she hasn't been around as long. I love Joe Mantegna so I don't want him to leave. And I love Morgan, Reid,& Garcia. I'm on the fence about Hotchner, so I might be okay with him going. I can't wait until the fall to find out what happened either. Almost the same exact thing happened on ER but it was an ambulance that blew up & we don't know which doctor was on it.

I wish I could find the interview, but the creator of the show previewed the finale and said that we wouldn't want to miss the final 30 seconds because of what they were setting up for next season -- which will start with one of the team being "severely injured". From that statement I am going to go with no one is leaving CM just yet.

I don't think anyone's leaving the show. It says that someone will be seriously injured. Maybe the pregnant JJ; since she's pregnant in real life. I was shock to see the explosion, but did you see how many people had hoods on their heads?

That episode was amazing! I cant believe we're gonna have to wait so long to see if who will die/be seriously injured!!! They also are going to continue the storyline which sounds really interesting which just makes the wiat so much unbearable!

I had broken my thoughts about who wasn't in the SUV on another blog. It's not Garcia because they already shot her at the end of one season so she can't be "blown up" at the end of another. That'd be completely unfair. It can't be Morgan because he's just too cute, plus they were making me mad enough talking about him leaving to take that job. It can't be Reid because he's my favorite. It can't be JJ because she's pregnant and that'd just be wrong, although when the daddy gave up his job for her, I was a little worried about them. It can't be Joe Mantegna's character because he just told Morgan he'd tell him when he had enough, plus he just joined. I'd be ok with Hotch or Emily, although I'd much prefer it to be the person Hotch went to school with because we don't have an emotional connection to her yet.

I am hoping it is Hotchner. The guy has hit the wall and of all of the cast, Hotchner is the one that needs a life-changing experience!
I too rewatched the final scene in slow motion trying to pick up on a difference betweent the SUV's, or the surroundings but couldn't find anything to tell them apart!

I agree Hotch needs a life changing experience and besides when he spends all his time in the hospital he can have the lovely british FBI lady with him!
I thought this was a great episode... I cannot wait till the Fall to see what happens.

i cant help with any info, but i had to add to this cuz i thought the episode was EXCELLENT!!!
i'm assuming it will be the English woman, but with her i'd guess they'd just kill her since we dont really know her.
if it is a serious injury, i'd go with hotch. i have been thinking lately that there's nothing left to do with him, he's divorced and we dont need to add people to the cast by having his wife come back. he seems to be heading towards a big breakdown of some kind. his character isnt pleasant to be around, let alone MARRIED to, but i like him on the show cuz he's so complex and flawed in a way that seems realistic to me.
that was quite an explosion so the person who was injured better have been on the outside of that car, cuz there is no way anyone could survive that explosion. and the person would have physical injuries that would not go away, they would be severely burned.
i also cant wait til the fall to see who it is.

Yes, Hotch does need a life changing experience, but I don't think getting blown up is it. The man would never come back. Of course if one of his team members gets blown up, he'll be more sullen than ever.
We never did see the British detective and what car she got into- I'm hoping it's her. (Hotch really would hit the wall 'cause he has a thing for her)
I watched the last 30 seconds at least 10 times in slow motion and I can't for the life of me figure out who's suv it is. I'm sure the producers know there are fanatics like us out here and they kept out clues intentionally. Still, it will be a very long summer waiting to find out who's car exploded.
What a great episode!!! 5 stars
